I was asked to illustrate the school rules for the “Karlsgartenschule” – an inclusive school with a high amount of pupils with a migrant background. The task was to find motives that make the rules understandable, even if you can not (yet) read and understand german.
After I was done with my first drafts, I met with 2 teachers and a group of pupils. The pupils were asked to tell what they were seeing on the sketches without knowing what the pictures were supposed to show. By that, I could check if the drafts fulfil their purpose.
